I recently photographed this stunning sculpture by Ann Arbor artist, Terrence Campagna. This piece is a part of a series called "On the Surface of the Midwest":
“. . . this series are largely made of wood gathered during collection walks in the rural Midwest. A large portion of the wood was collected in rural Wisconsin from decaying outbuildings that once housed hay, tools, animals and grains. In the studio the collected wood was fabricated on a table saw and carefully joined together with strips of newer, painted wood. The color palette used is derived from the coloring found on interstate road signs.”

I recently photographed the Toledo Museum of Art's new exhibit called The Art of the Louvre's Tuileries Garden!
“The Art of the Louvre’s Tuileries Garden [presents] 100 paintings, photographs, drawings and sculptures by some of the most acclaimed European and American artists from the 17th to the 20th centuries. This glorious major exhibition explores the art, design and evolution of Paris’ famed Tuileries Garden and its impact on such artists as Camille Pissarro, Childe Hassam and many others. It also celebrates garden designer André Le Nôtre (1613–1700)—best known for his grand perspectives and symmetry at the chateaux gardens of Versailles—who transformed the Tuileries from an outdoor museum for French royalty into a French formal garden for Louis XIV. The Tuileries, which stretches from the Louvre to the Place de la Concorde in central Paris, was originally created in 1564 and became the city’s first public park in 1667.”

I photographed a student's art portfolio for her college application. The 3D projects required careful lighting to bring out the form of the object, as well as being careful not to cast any unwanted shadows. The paintings and sketches were shot with strobes to create even lighting without the warming or greening effects of indoor lighting. They were then carefully color-corrected to completely match the original work.
